My name is Janet, and I was a personal support
worker for 7 years and I loved my job.
When the vaccines started rolling out, I was completely against taking it.
My employer informed me that I would lose my job, if I was not inoculated. Because of this pressure I caved and
received my 1st dose of Pfizer on March 28th 2021.
Since taking the vaccine my life and health was changed forever. Shortly after receiving the vaccine I began having seizures, and severe tremors in my hands. My hands would shake so much that sometimes I needed to be assisted in feeding myself.
I require a walker to get around now. I am constantly losing my balance and I fall for absolutely no reason all the time. I now have speech impairments. I get confused easily. I had no prior health issues and loved my job as a personal support worker. I loved shopping, cooking, and baking. Now I need help eating, dressing, and regular daily activities.
I’ve received absolutely no help from my nurse
practitioner, and any appointments I get, when I
do get one, are over the phone. I feel like I’ve been forgotten.
